What’s happening in College this Month?
February 2018 finds our First Year group learning about herbal tinctures and their use in a fascinating session with our Medical herbalist.
The digestive function of the body is investigated – there are lots of new remedies to discover and the important homeopathic concept of miasm is introduced.
This month the Second Year students consider the endocrine system and how it impacts on bodily function. Our nutritional lecturer introduces new up to the moment concepts in nutrition – we look at more remedies and think about the way in which prejudice can influence your case work.
Our Third Year group look at treating anxiety and depression, Travel sickness remedies and also how to deal with the diabetic patient are all investigated.
Within Medical Science this group consider the topic of cancer- it’s possible causes and how the NHS treats these conditions.
Our Fourth Year students consider diseases of the mouth and throat, ear conditions and vertigo are all addressed. Within Nutrition obesity and digestive health are considered with a helpful look at nutrition for hormonal matters.
Lots of new remedies and a case in class bring a busy weekend to a close.
